There is no relationship that just happens. Right? Relationships take time, attention and nurturing. That’s true with any friend or loved one. It’s also true with your child. Initially, young infants need to be held alot, played with, sung and talked to. One of the ways to help with the holding is called babywearing. It’s the practice of wearing your infant or toddler in a fabric baby carrier or sling. Once you get used to it it feels very comfortable and natural. Babies who are held like this cry less and feel more safe and secure. It’s one great way to nurture your budding parent-child relationship.
