When I had my first child, I never wanted to let her out of my sight. I was even hesitant to let other people hold her, and was probably a bit over protective. After carrying my baby everywhere with me for a few months, I began to experience some intense lower back pain.

I went to my doctor and he informed me that I needed to find a better way to carry my baby in order to ease the strain on my back. He suggested that I try an ergo baby carrier. After using the new carrying system for just a week, I was able to hold my baby for hours without experiencing even the slightest pain.

There are plenty of products on the market to carry your child on your back.  Older infants and toddlers love to be worn on a parent’s back because they can see the world from the parents view point.  The soft fabric baby carriers that wrap around the parent like the asian mei tai and baby wrap carriers like the CuddlyWrap are more comfortable, less bulky and less cumbersome than the metal-framed backpacks.

Straight talk about baby gear.

Finding a safe and secure way to transport your baby is an important decision for any parent. Not only is it important for the baby to be comfy, but you should be comfortable as well. Ergonomic baby carriers are specifically designed to maximize comfort for you and your baby while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Ergonomics is the science of designing equipment and tools to properly fit the user. Products that are ergonomically designed prevent injury and excess strain during use. With an ergonomically designed baby carrier, wearing your child will feel natural, like the product was your own kangaroo pouch.

It’s more than a baby carrier

It is more than a baby carrier.  It is more than an image of a child who is peacefully snuggled against their parent.  It is a blink in time, a moment you will never get back.  It is the smell of your skin close to your child. It is the moment your baby looks up and slowly closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep.  It is the ability to fold laundry, trim flowers, go to the market as your baby is happy and close to you.

It is the strolls down old cobblestone streets, across open fields and busy cities.  It is the security of knowing, feeling, touching your child.  Knowing that you can not look away or just a split second and them be gone, because he is part of you, connected, bonded and secure.

It is what every parent wants–security of knowing what they are doing is the best, most safe, and healthiest thing for their baby.

Something to Provide You a Piece of Mind

One of the biggest shocks to new mothers is how much a baby can cry, in addition to the constant cuddling it needs. Night and day, your baby will need constant attention, at least for the first few weeks. What’s important to delivering continually attentive and caring service to your baby is not to get bogged down with the overwhelming wave of noise and work. There are many tools developed by the best to lend you a helping hand.

First and foremost, an infant carrier is a must have that will give your arms a break. You know, after carrying around eight pounds of screaming, messy joy for hours on end. If mommy doesn’t stay rested and alert for the baby, both parties suffer. Plus, having a baby is supposed to be a joyous time in your life, and while the crying is inevitable, you should take in every blissful moment you can.
